Inspiring the next generation through hands-on agricultural learning!
Acres of Grace Farms is proud to introduce a new addition to our agricultural education materials: the Keystone Species Lesson Plan, now available on our website!
This engaging, hands-on lesson invites students to discover key pollinator species found right here in Tennessee—including honeybees, Eastern Tiger Swallowtails, Eastern red bats, and Ruby-throated hummingbirds. Ideal for classrooms, 4-H clubs, and youth programs, this activity encourages research, collaboration, and creativity.
Participants will explore fascinating facts about these native pollinator species, discover how they support our ecosystems and agriculture, and brainstorm ways we can help protect them. Using a simple, student-friendly worksheet, learners will investigate, share, and illustrate their findings. The lesson wraps up with collaborative poster-making, allowing participants to visualize what they’ve learned and how these incredible pollinators support agriculture and biodiversity.
At Acres of Grace Farms, we believe in nurturing curiosity, conservation, and connection to the land. This lesson is one small way we’re helping educators do just that! Download the Keystone Species Lesson Plan now and bring pollinators to life in your next learning session
